Moving On

When things don’t go your way as they should. When suddenly the world seems upside down and you have no one to talk too. When you wished that you were not here at this precise moment. Then all you have to do is CRY!
Crying can help you unearth a lot of things in your head and in your heart. But what do you do when tears won’t even roll down your eyes? There is so much hurt inside your heart. There are so many words in your head that you can’t blurt out. What should you do?
Turn to prayer and talk to God. He is the only one that you can turn too. Allow me to share with you this poem:

Don’t Quit
When things go wrong as they sometimes will;
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill;
When the funds are low, and the debts are high;
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh;
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.
Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;
And you can never tell how close you are;
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit –
It’s when things go wrong that you mustn’t quit.

We need to move on, if we must.We need to cling to God all the time when things are tough. We must not lose hope and we must trust that a brand new day will come when the sun is up and all things are back to normal. We just need to treasure all the good and happy memories so that we never falter in our faith. Because after all when people around you are the cause of your misery then its only God who will be with you.

Splatter Painting a Wall

I had a very fulfilling day yesterday. My son and I did some splatter painting on his wall. It was a very fruitful experience and we had fun. Let me share with you what we did.
First of all you need to cover the walls that you don’t need to splatter paint on as this is a very messy one. So prepare the other walls by covering it with old newspapers and a masking tape. Cover the floors too with old newspapers and plastics. Wear old clothes that you don’t use as paint might get into them.
So, what are the things that you need.
Materials:
Paint ( desired color) , in our case we used dark blue color for cement walls.I only bought a pint.
Ballons ( small size)
Thumb Tacks
Funnel
Air Pump
Newspapers
Masking Tape

Method:
1. Prepare the sides of the walls that will not be painted by covering it with newspaper and masking tape. Cover the floor thoroughly so as not to have paint on the floor.
2. Put paint inside the balloon using a funnel.
3. Add air into the balloon with paint using the air pump. Then immediately tie the loose end of the balloon with a knot.
4. Put a small pin on a wall using a double sided tape but with the end of the pin which is sharp facing you.
5. Throw the balloon to the pin and it will burst and create a splatter on the wall.
6. Repeat above procedure and until the wall is fully splattered.

E + R = O

You might be wondering why my title is such.
Well, for one i am a technical person and i love formulas.
But didn’t you know that the above formula is adaptable even to a non technical person? Yes, you can use it.
What does it mean?
Here are some examples:
When you were conceived in the womb of your Mom and she learned about you being there. She had two choices – to keep you or to abort you. But she choose to keep you so there you are.
When she got her marriage proposal from your Dad, she said yes and now they are happily married.
After graduation, you had the option to work or not. But you choose to work and there you are, you got a job.
In your work, when you do not like your boss, you have the option to resign or continue working. The result will depend on what you choose.

In every event or situation, we are given the choice what and how we will respond to the situation and the result or the outcome will be determined by our choice.

So therefore; An Event ( which is the situation ) plus a Response (your choice to act)to that situation will make an Outcome.

Let me share with you a beautiful and inspiring story on the choices we make in life given a situation.

Nick Jujivic’s story is a very touching and inspiring one.

Yes, we all can make life beautiful even if the situation is not going the way we like. We just have to know how to respond to a situation.
